Nashik is very important place of pilgrimage all over the world. This place is known as 'Lila Sthali' of Lord Shri Ramchandra. Nasik, previously known as part of province 'Dandkaranya' is purified place of residence of lakhs of sages due to their worship to Lord Ramchandra. Lord gave them benedictions of eternal association. The place where they performed their austerities is known as Tapovan.
